1) ⬇️ Rollout Update ⬇️

Shipping is underway, and the first Tribemates have officially received their Totems! 😍

‍

But that's not all: the next big shipment from our manufacturer has officially hit US soil and should arrive at Totem HQ in the next 48 hours. All units will undergo Quality Control and then be shipped out to the next people as soon as possible. 💨

‍

A loving reminder: the Shipping Queue is prioritized by chronological order. The people who have received their Totems were the very first people who placed a pre-order. For specific timeline updates for YOUR order, look for the weekly Order Update email we send out every Friday.

‍

Regardless of your place in the Shipping Queue, all pre-orders are forecasted to ship out within the next 30 days. New orders (aka non-pre-orders) will then ship out immediately afterward in December.

‍

We will continue communicating weekly updates until all pre-orders have shipped out! 🥳

2) 🎆 Totem at EDC Orlando 🎆

‍

5 years ago, everything changed.

‍

EDC Orlando 2019 was the birthplace of Totem. One stolen phone kickstarted a wave of change for music festivals around the world.

‍

5 years later, our marketing team returned to EDC Orlando—just weeks after the very first Totem Compasses began to ship worldwide.

Amidst historically massive crowds at EDCO 2024, people found their friends with ease for the very first time using some of the first Totem Compasses in existence. Finally, there was true freedom under the Electric Sky.

‍

We met hundreds of beautiful Tribemates and saw so many Totems out in the wild... It was honestly quite surreal. Every conversation, every hug, every connection was more memorable than any DJ set.  🥹

3 ways you can help improve the Totem Compass

1) Download Software Updates Regularly

‍

‍

Once you have your Totem Compass in-hand, add one item onto your pre-festival checklist: download the latest software update! 🛜

‍

Totem releases free software updates for the Totem Compass on a regular basis. Software Updates are released on a regular basis to improve performance, extend battery life, and occasionally fix bugs.

‍

You can tell if you're running the latest software version by checking your Crystal Color when the Totem powers-up. Each version will show a different initial color in the Touch Crystal. 💠

‍

‍

There are two ways to update your software: the WiFi method (recommended) and the HotSpot method. You can learn about them on the Totem Software Updates page.

‍

‍

On average, it takes less than 3 minutes to update your Totem Compass for the first time. And there's an option to do a bulk-update for all Totems nearby simultaneously, to save you some time. ⌛

‍

To be safe, we recommend that you build a habit around updating your Totems every time you head to a festival or event. 🫶

The Totem's user interface is extremely simple and intuitive, but it's still a new piece of technology that comes with its own learning curve. 📈

There really isn't THAT much to know—after all, there are only 3 buttons. But if it's someone's first time using the device, they may have questions like...

"Why is my Crystal breathing Red?"

Answer: it has low battery and need to be charged!

"Why isn't my Totem vibing?"

Answer: your Totem is in Eco Mode!

"How do I know if it's charging?"

Answer: look for the red charging light!

We sent the first Totem Tuesday on November 28th, 2024. I can't believe it's already been a year.

Back then, it was just two co-founders and a dream. Before the virality, before the Tribe, before the movement.

That first Totem Tuesday went out to only 12 people.

This Totem Tuesday went out to over 25,000 people.

‍

When we came back from EDC Orlando yesterday, there was one thing on our minds.

‍

The Totem Tribe.

‍

We met so many of you under the Electric Sky, and the air was thick with love and gratitude.

The emotions are immense, and go deep.
