October is Shipping Month!

‍

‍

Today is a shorter Totem Tuesday, but it's an important one.

‍

This email contains important information about shipping times and payment processing, so please read the entire message.

Here are the 3 most important things for you to know right now.

‍

1) Shipping Timeline Update

‍

Based on the latest updates from our Supply Chain,​ we forecast that shipping will begin by the 4th week of October (10/21 - 10/25).

‍

Once shipping begins, we expect all pre-orders to be shipped within 30 days.

‍

‍

The Shipping Queue will be prioritized by chronological order. The first people who pre-ordered will be the first people in the queue.

‍

‍

Domestic shipping will be handled by our partner ShipDaddy, and international shipping will be handled by our partner Passport.

‍

‍

If you have placed a pre-order, you will receive email updates about your order every Friday until shipping begins. When your Totem arrives to our shipping partner's facility, you will receive an email notification with a tracking number. This will allow you to follow your Totem's journey in real-time.

‍

‍

If you are a domestic (US-based) customer: expect a typical delivery time (2-3 business days) once your order ships.

‍

If you are an international customer: all Totems ship from the USA. Delivery times will vary, depending on your location. Expect the standard delivery times you've experienced in the past, for products shipping out of the USA.

2) Payment Processing Tomorrow

‍

Since shipping begins this month, all pre-order customers will have their payments processed tomorrow, October 2nd.

‍

‍

If your payment fails to process, Shopify will notify you via email and allow you to update your payment information. Your Totem will not be able to ship until you update your info, so please keep an eye on your inbox!

‍

But don't worry: you won't automatically get bumped to the bottom of the queue if your payment doesn't go through on the first try. As long as you update your payment info before shipping begins, you will keep your place in line.

‍

Pro Tip: you don't have to wait for Shopify to notify you! You can update your payment details, billing info, or shipping info at any time by accessing the original order confirmation email sent from Shopify.

3) Pre-Orders Closing & Price Increase

‍

‍

‍

Starting Thursday, October 3rd, the Totem Compass Pre-Order Era will come to an end. We will then begin taking active orders, just like a typical ecommerce company.

‍

From October 3rd onward, payments will be processed at checkout for new orders. New orders will only be shipped after all pre-orders have been fulfilled.

‍

‍

Heads Up — you have one final day to lock-in that sweet pre-order pricing! On Thursday, the starting price will increase to $69 / Totem.
