Totem Tuesday: November 26th, 2024
Hey there!
FYI, you're going to want to read this one all the way through...
because this Totem Tuesday is a PARTY! 🥳
After all, we have something huge to celebrate together.
🎉 ONE YEAR OF TOTEM TUESDAY 🎉
Time flies, eh?
I remember just yesterday...
WAIT, NO! We'll get into all the memories further down.
Let's take care of the important stuff first. 👍
Today, we have Rollout Updates and a couple of exciting announcements to share.
Then, to celebrate the One Year Anniversary of Totem Tuesday, we'll go on a backstage tour of Totem's first 12 months. We promise: you've never had this level of behind the scenes access before.
(P.S. — if this is your first Totem Tuesday, welcome to the Tribe! We are so grateful you've joined us and look forward to many more in Year 2)
😘
1) ⬇️ Rollout Update ⬇️
Rollout is in full swing! Here's all the latest.
We sent another 1,000+ approved units to our 3PL in the last week! They should begin shipping out to customers in the next 24-48 hours.
That number was a bit higher than expected, so some customers who were told (in last Friday's order update email) that their order would not ship until December will be getting a very pleasant surprise in their inbox later this week when they receive their tracking number. 🥳
More shipments (with higher quantity) will be arriving in the next couple weeks and will ship out immediately after QC inspection.
The manufacturer defect issue mentioned in last week's Totem Tuesday is already being addressed with the manufacturer and is not expected to have any additional impact on future shipments.
As a loving reminder, the Shipping Queue is prioritized by chronological order. The people who have received their Totems (or will be receiving these next 1000) were the first people who placed a pre-order. For specific timeline updates for YOUR order, look for the weekly Order Update email we send out every Friday.
The last pre-orders in the Queue will ship out by early January—possibly sooner. New orders (aka non-pre-orders) will then ship out immediately afterward in January.

2)🫅Investment Update👸
Everyone: thank you for the massive wave of interest in becoming a Totem investor over the last week!
We've connected with so many amazing Tribemembers and the calendar is quickly filling up with investment calls over the next 1-2 weeks.
At this time, it looks like all the available space is likely spoken-for, but if you'd like to throw your hat in the ring feel free to email our CEO. You never know what might happen!
...
OK! That's all the news for this week.
Many things in life—especially the most rewarding things—take longer than you expect.
In the last 12 months, some things have moved incredibly quickly. Others have been frustratingly slow.
During that time, all of us here at Totem have experienced some of the highest highs and most exhausting lows of our lives. But through it all—we kept going.
Ultimately, what happened doesn't matter.
The thing that matters is:
What are you going to do now?
Roadblock? Great. Keep going.
Conflict? Great. Keep going.
Self-doubt? Great. Keep going.
The past is behind.
The future is undefined.
So...
What are you going to do now?
Whatever you do...
I hope it's big.
I hope it's bold.
I hope someone calls you crazy, and naive.
And I hope you do it anyway.
✌️ + 🩷
