During Rollout, we are keeping things focused and simple here on Totem Tuesday.
This week, we'll share the latest Rollout Updates, chat about our ongoing Call for Product Reviewers and then touch on our all-important Product Feedback flow.
After that, we'll share some super interesting findings we discovered when looking at the 5 most crowded festivals in the United States!
1) ⬇️ Rollout Update ⬇️
Another shipment of Totems has passed Quality Control and will be leaving HQ tomorrow, headed to our fulfillment partner. That means another group of customers will be getting their tracking numbers in the next few days!
On top of that, the next shipment from our manufacturer is already on the way. UPS says they should arrive at HQ by early next week. At that point, they will undergo inspection and Quality Control before shipping out to customers.
Our number 1 priority continues to be product quality. Although it is slowing down the speed for rollout, our internal team is still committed to handling all Quality Control ourselves until the manufacturer sends us a shipment with an acceptable scrap rate (< 3%).
They aren't quite there yet, but they are making significant progress. 🫶
That means that Quality Control and packaging can be handled by our manufacturer very soon, allowing shipments to go straight from the factory to our shipping partner and speeding up the shipping time from factory to customer by 40-50%.
As of last Friday, we've launched our new-and-improved Rollout Tracker—your go-to resource for all things Totem Compass production and shipping.
Here’s what the revamped Rollout Tracker offers:
1) A live tracker showing who’s next in the queue and estimated shipping timelines for all orders, updated multiple times per week.
2) Updates on production and manufacturing milestones.
3) A permanent feature on our website, serving as the definitive source of truth for all production and shipping updates!
This improved Rollout Tracker is designed to streamline the rollout information each week—it will be replacing the weekly Friday Order Update emails moving forward.
We may be sparing the inboxes a little more now, but chatting with the Totem Tribe is still one of our absolute favorite things to do.
